Villa El Cielo en la Tierra is located between the villages of Algarrobo and Arenas in the Axarquía region in the east of Málaga province about 40 minutes drive from Málaga airport.

Our villa can be easily reached by (rental) car.
The mountain road via Algarrobo to El Cielo en la Tierra is a concrete road. Due to the special location of our house, the last kilometers of the concrete road are sometimes a bit adventurous for the less experienced driver. After booking and before you will travel to Spain you will receive detailed directions to our villa. Our dutch administrator, who also speaks English, will meet you upon your arrival at the motorway exit to accompany you to the villa the first time.

If you also want to explore the underlying area in the mountains, it can happen that you sometimes get on roads that, unlike what we are mostly used to in the Netherlands, are not yet fully hardened. In that case, we advise you to rent a car with sufficient ground clearance. However, an all terrain vehicle (4x4) is not necessary.
